Been forever since I posted! Here is what happened. Piper turned 2 and had a party! Dad finished basketball season.....and we are so over the moon happy that he gets to come home every night and hang with us :) Piper and I went on a very long 2 week trip to: Merritt Island, my parents house in GA and to Gainesville because my sister had another baby....a boy....a healthy 9.1 lb boy....Caleb! We had lots of fun but it was a very busy 2 weeks and it was really nice to be home.
Here are some birthday party pics.....not many. I didn't really take many pictures. It just gets so crazy the moments before and during parties. But it was cute {at least I think so :)} and Piper had fun...you could so tell she had fun. Again, just another small party with a few of her little girlfriends.
She helped herself all morning to the food table and loved all the presents from her friends.
So about Piper at 2. She is to me the coolest 2 year old. We have so much fun, she is my little buddy. I think she is so smart. We do have some challenging days lately...but it's all to be expected and I deal with it day by day.
- She will only take showers now....refuses to take baths
- Loves fruit (especially berries), yogurt with granola, hummus, almonds and mac and cheese. Not so much a meat eater.
- Likes coloring, painting and play dough (especially the sparkly kind)
- We have a nightly ritual....after bath and teeth are brushed she makes everyone dance around in her room like a ballerina.....even daddy
- Sister can spot a park or playground from a mile away!
- I am amazed at how she will sit and read her books.....and read to me....obviously she has just memorized them but still....it blows me away
- The girl can rock some boots.....and she does....almost every single day
- Obsessed with dogs....obsessed (more like a deep love...it's sweet)
- Loves cake pops
- She sings A LOT!
I love our days together....and it makes me sad how fast this is all going by.
